Extracurricular activities enhance in-classroom instruction by offering students an opportunity to engage in authentic manufacturing and engineering experiences, reinforcing personal aspirations.

SME PRIME schools are provided with funds to supplement manufacturing-related extracurricular activities that are identified and selected by the schools. Examples include, but are not limited to, FIRST Robotics, SkillsUSA, summer camps, field trips and Manufacturing Day events.
